Willem Engelbrecht
Co-founderWillem comes with a wealth of experience having owned and managed a large farming operation in the Western Cape, South Africa. He also founded one of the first precision horticultural spreading business in the country – which had a significant impact on the nutrient management practices of the industry before immigrating to New Zealand. After working for 3 years as a nutrient specialist in the Bay of Plenty he has gained knowledge of the local soils and conditions.
He has been using variable rate applications for many years and has seen firsthand the value in adopting this technique, not only for creating a more even soil nutrient profile, but also the direct impact it has on reducing the potential impacts on the environment.
Dave Russell-Rockliff
Co-founderDave has years of technical experience and had worked his way from developer to product manager in his time in South Africa. After moving to New Zealand he used his skills to help a large agri-nutrient company conceptualise, design and release an app which made it easier for customers to order from the company and manage their farm’s fertilizer requirements. Great customer experiences have always been important to him and now he has turned his focus to help build new geospatial based products and implement systems and processes for Revive Soil Solutions customers.
Based on the strong demand for high quality digital farm maps, he has also gained Civil Aviation Authority 101 and 102 certification in order to fly farms for customers.
